RV Bowers RV Bowers, son of the late John Marshall and Mary Marie Jones Bowers was born in Barns Ridge, Missouri on January 17, 1934, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on March 3, 2010, at the age of 76. He had lived his life in the Gray Ridge and Dexter area. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Dexter where he served as Elder. On June 11, 1954 he was married to Sherry Jenice Cambron in Dexter, Missouri. Surviving are his wife Sherry Bowers of Sikeston, Missouri. One son: Donald Wayne Bowers of Sikeston, Missouri. Two daughters: Brenda Kay Danels of Vanduser, Missouri and Tracy Jenice Knuckles of Calvert City, Kentucky. Six grandchildren; Two great grandchildren. Three brothers: Estel Bowers of Gordonville, Missouri, LD Bowers of Puxico, Missouri and Paul Bowers of Rockford, Illinois. Three sister: Doris Darris of Blackrock, Arkansas, Evelyn Carnell of Dutchtown, Missouri and Bernice Tubbs of Bastrop, Louisiana. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by one brother Johnny Bowers. Visitation will be Saturday, March 6, 2010, after 11:00 AM at the First United Pentecostal Church in Dexter. Services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 1:00 PM at the First United Pentecostal Church in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Joseph Geuin and Rev. Marcus Geuin both of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Internment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
