Ruth Snider

Ruth Snider, daughter of the late, Roy and Clola (Townsend) Duffey was born June 25, 1927, Bloomfield, Missouri, and passed away at the Bentley's Extended Care, in Overland, Missouri on September 6, 2013, at the age of 86 years. She lived in Bloomfield area, before moving to Overland, Missouri, where she lived for many years. She retired from J. C. Penny Company, and she was of the Baptist faith. On November 15, 1946, she married Roy Lee Snider, in Advance, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1992. Surviving are one son, Ken Snider of Overland, Missouri; one daughter, Kathy Wilson of Tempe, Arizona; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Many other family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Monday September 9, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Josh Carpenter, of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
