Ruth Marie Mallette
Ruth Marie Mallette, the daughter of the late William S. and Isabel Rushing Hanner, was born in Blue Mountain, Mississippi on December 4, 1917, and passed away at the St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas on November 10, 2008, at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 6 days.
Mrs. Mallette grew up in Blue Mountain, Mississippi and moved to Puxico in 1948 and had moved to Paragould, Arkansas in 2001. She had been a member of the Corinth General Baptist Church. She enjoyed tending her garden, sewing and quilting.
In 1941 she was married to John Prince. He preceded her in death in 1950. On August 18, 1962, she was married to Buell Mallette. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1988.
Surviving are four sons, John Prince of Cardwell, Missouri, Danny Prince of Paragould, Arkansas, Wayne Prince of Union, Missouri, Blickie Prince of Marmaduke, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One sister: Nina Regis of Melbourne, Florida. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
