Ruth Conner

Ruth Marie Conner, daughter of the late Cecil and Bertha Silliman Vickery, was born near Essex, Missouri on July 13, 1935, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 19, 2009, at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 6 days. Mrs. Conner had lived in the Essex and Dexter area all her life. She had attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church in Essex, Missouri. In September of 1984, she was married to R. W. "Dub" Conner in Essex, Missouri. Surviving are her husband, R. W. "Dub" Conner of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Sandra Vaughn and Linda Morgan both of Dexter, Missouri; six grandchildren, Timbo, Arlyn, Crystal, Kevin, Ashley & Keaton; and 9 great grandchildren, Marissa, Larissa, Madison, colton, Jayden, Andrew, Austin, Jennel & Brienna. Other relatives and friends also survives. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
