Russell Goodman

Russell Goodman, son of the late Alex and Ruth Eaton Goodman, was born in Essex, Missouri on December 1, 1942, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on Wednesday January 13, 2010, at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 12 days. He had lived in Essex and Dexter all his life. He was a member of the Missouri Trappers Accociation. He was a member of the Northern Cherokee Nations and a Eagle Scout. Surviving are his beloved partner, Joan Perry of Dexter, one daughter, Rhonda Kemp of Dexter, Missouri, two sisters, Oma Jean Sanders of Peru, Indiana and Nona Dove of Lakeland, Florida; and one brother, George Goodman of Michigan. Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Richard and Herman. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2010, after 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 3:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. James Malloy of Essex, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Misouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
