Ruby Page, daughter of the late Thomas R. and Lou Ethel Miller Hodge, was born in Fisk, Missouri on October 26, 1916, and passed away at the St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on May 19, 2007, at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 23 days. Mrs. Page had lived in Puxico, Missouri since 1934. She was a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church near Puxico, Missouri where she had held many offices over the years. She enjoyed crafts and piecing quilts. On September 1, 1934, she was married to Euell Page in Puxico, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1984. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Lou (Hobert) Scott and Donis Wheetley both of Puxico, Missouri, Dorothy (Darrell) Callahan of Festus, Missouri; six grandchildren, Rick Wheetley Rhonda Lamply, Steve Scott, Keith, Kenny and Randy Callahan; five great grandchildren, Juston, Cody, and Jenelle Wheetley, Mikayla Scott, Danny Callahan; one great great grandchild, Bryce Wheetley; one brother, Floyd Hodge of Puxico, Missouri; one sister, Opal Lee Cookson of Puxico, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Mae Hollaway, and one brother, Frank Hodge. Friends may call on Monday, May 21, 2007, after 6:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Elder Don Adams of Matthews, Missouri, Elder Jerry Park of Puxico, Missouri and Elder Johnny Gibson of St. Peters, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
