Rev. Roy Allen McAnulty, the son of the late Robert Allen and Marquerette Young McAnulty, was born in Pope County, Arkansas near Russellville on March 22, 1923, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on November 17, 2005, at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 26 days. He had lived in Southeast Missouri since 1942 and had resided in Sikeston the past 20 years. He was a retired Bulldozer Operator and had worked for M & A Electric in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was licensed Assembly of God minister and had pastored churches in Vanduser and Morehouse, Missouri. On January 1, 1942, he was married to Bobbie Morphis in Russellville, Arkansas. Surviving are his wife, Bobbie McAnulty of Sikeston, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Miller of Sikeston, Missouri; four sons, James McAnulty of Munford, Tennessee, Ronald McAnulty of Norris City, Illinois, Gary McAnulty of Milan, Tennessee, Rodger McAnulty of Grand Prairie, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and one sister, Mildred Dane of Harrison, Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2005, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Milton Poole of Humble, Texas officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
