Rose Marie Mcturnan

Rose Marie McTurnan, beloved daughter of the late Vernon and Effie (Cochran) Adkison, was born on April 12, 1947, in Arbor, Missouri. She passed away peacefully in Puxico, Missouri, on December 2, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

Rose lived most of her life in this area and was of the Christian faith. She found happiness in reading, assembling jigsaw puzzles, and had a deep love for horses.

Rose is survived by her four children: William McTurnan of Dudley, Missouri; Judy Bowen of Swinton, Missouri; and Sandra McTurnan of Puxico, Missouri. Additionally, she leaves behind eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, two sisters, and a cherished friend, Pat Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William McTurnan, her son Danny McTurnan, her sister Linda Reynolds, and her grandson Wesley Wiley.

At this time, no further arrangements have been made. Rose will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.
