Ronald Froman, son of the late Harry C. and Grace L. Gribler Froman, was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 18, 1940, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 17, 2009 at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 30 days.
Mr. Froman had lived in Michigan, Arkansas and St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Zalma, Missouri in 1989. He had worked at B and M Auto Parts, Shaeffer Power Panels, the City of Paragould, Arkansas, Penzel and Cotton Roberts in Arkansas and had worked in construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and restoring old cars.
On December 29, 1973, he was married to Shirley Ann Dunning in Arkansas.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Froman of Zalma, Missouri; one son, Gary Bruce Froman of Scott City, Missouri; one daughter, Donna Hendershott of Advance, Missouri; one grandchild; two brothers, Harry C. Froman, Jr. and Mitchell Froman both of Zalma, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call on Thursday, February 19, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner of Wappappello, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant - Jimmerson Cemetery near Gypsy, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
