Roger Michael Payne

Roger Michael Payne of Puxico, son of the late Herman and Dora Peters Payne, was born in McGee, Missouri on September 25,1945, and passed away at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri on July 6, 2019, at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 11 days.

He had lived in Mississippi and Scott City, and lived in Aid the past 25 years. He was a retired truck driver and loved his dog, Sandy.

He was married to Sharon Cox in Aid, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Payne of Dexter; two step sons, Johnny and Charlie Fielding both of Iuka, Mississippi; three grandsons. Other family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 after 10:00 am until time of services at 12:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.

Interment will follow in the McGee New Hope Cemetery in McGee, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
