Roger Douglas Medler

     Roger Douglas Medler of Dexter, Missouri, son of the late Glen William and Corita Marcella (Eagan) Medler was born on September 6, 1944, in Dexter, Missouri, and passed from this life on May 11, 2023, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 78.
     He  lived in the Southeast Missouri most of his life, except for a ten year stent when he lived in Cuba, Missouri, while working for the Missouri State Highway Patrol. After relocating to Dexter, He and his wife took over the family buiness in 1983, owning and operating Medler's Cleaners until his retirement at the end of 2022.
     Roger married Sue Jackson in Kennett, Missouri, on August, 15, 1967. He was of the Protestant Faith attending The Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working, spending time with family, especially spoiling his grandchildren.            
     Roger is survived by his wife of the home; three sons, Roger (Sherry) Medler; Ross Derek Medler and Ryan Mitchell (Ashlee) Medler all of Dexter, Missouri; four grandchildren; Garrett, Layne, Jacob and Jaxon; one brother, Ron Medler of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one sister, Glenellen Nasrallah of Boston, Massachusetts; a close personal friend Roger Hubbard of Dexter; as well a host of family and friends.
