Rodney L. Corlew, son of Mary M. Litzler Corlew and the late Charles William Corlew, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 9, 1959, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on February 12, 2012, at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 3 days.
He had lived in Essex and Dexter, Missouri all his life. Rodney was a self employed truck driver and was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, Missouri.
On February 18, 1995, he was married to Vickie Edwards in Dexter, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Vickie Corlew of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Jessica Corlew of Bloomfield, Missouri, Lindsey Corlew of Springfield, Missouri; one granddaughter, Rylee Corlew of Bloomfield, Misouri; two brothers and spouse, Michael Joe Corlew of Essex, Missouri, Charles Ray & Lisa Corlew of Aid, Missouri; three sisters and spouses, Sandy K. & Glenn McMullin, Charlotte A. and Mark Stutts and Mary Jan Wheeler all of Essex, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Rick Patterson of Athens, Tennessee and the Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
