Rodger Kirk

Rodger Lynn Kirk, son of Mary Y. Clark Kirk and the late Jesse Kirk, was born in Malden, Missouri, on January 4, 1958 and passed away in Tucson, Arizona on April 9, 2013, at the age of 55 years. He had lived in Parma for 30 years before moving to Georgia, Hawaii, and Arizona. He had moved to Tucson, Arizona, 22 years ago. He worked for Kahil Bottle Company and enjoyed golfing, playing pool, motorcycles, fishing and hunting. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Surviving are his mother, Mary Y. Kirk of Malden, Missouri; one son, Jarrett Paul Kirk of Malden, Missouri; one daughter, Bobbie Jean Kirk Bibbs of Hornersville, Missouri; one brother, Donald Kirk of Parma, Missouri; one sister, Sheila Thompson of Malden, Missouri; and four grandchildren. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Kirk. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013, after 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Jack Allen of Clarkton, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with full military honors. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
