Robert "Bo" Aslin, Jr., son of Robert "Bobby", Sr. and Donna Duncan Aslin, was born on March 11, 1983, in Dexter, Missouri and passed away in Illinois, on June 9, 2012, at the age of 29 years, 2 months and 29 days.
Bo had lived in Bloomfield most of his life having lived a short time in Texas and Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield. He worked at Ag Distributors in Sikeston. Bo loved to play his quitar and enjoyed a variety of music. He spent many hours playing music with his friends. Another great passion was cooking and bar-b-queing and spent many times cooking for his family.
Surviving are his daughter, the love of his life, Sophie Lynn Aslin of Highland, Illinois; parents, Robert "Bobby", Sr. & Donna Aslin of Bloomfield and mother, Anita C. Whitworth Moore of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Nathan Aslin of Bloomfield; one half-brother, Richard Dale Ozment, Jr. of Cape Girardeau; one half-sister, Nitosha C. Ozment of Jackson; his paternal grandfather, Gorty L. Aslin of Bloomfield, his maternal grandmother, Mary Duncan of Bloomfield. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Betty Aslin and maternal grandfather, Bill Duncan.
Friends may visit on Tuesday June 12, 2012, after 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 12, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Ron Dunivan of Monett, Arkansas officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
