Rita Hunsperger, daughter of the late Roma and Ruth Dixon Turner, was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 13, 1938, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 24, 2011, at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 11 days. She had lived in Dexter since 1973 when she moved here with her family. She was a member of the Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield. On August 10, 1954 she was married to Frankie "Frank" Hunsperger in Charleston, Missouri. Surviving are her husband Frank Hunsperger of Dexter, Missouri. Two sons: Tom Hunsperger of Dexter, Missouri and Larry "Dinky" Hunsperger of Malden, Missouri. Three daughters: Bobbie Turnbow of Malden, Missouri, Johanna Whitfield of Grayling, Michigan and Kay Stafford of Essex, Missouri. Twenty four grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren. Four Brothers: Donald Turner of Arizona, Larry Turner of Sikeston, Missouri, Charles Gene Turner of Charleston, Missouri and Freddie Turner of Sikeston, Missouri. One sister Janie Hargraves of Charleston, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son: Frank Ray Hunsperger. Two daughters: Elizabeth Jean McCulley and Tammy Lynn Burnett. Several brothers and sisters.. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011, after 12:00 PM at the Wayside Baptist Church in Koshkanong, Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Wayside Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri with the Rev. Jack Hargraves of Charleston, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Wayside Cemetery in Koshkonong, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
