Rita Marie Campagna, daughter of the late Walter Casey and Lula Mitchell Casey Fann, was born in Shiloh, Missouri on April 2, 1916, and passed away at the Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico, Missouri on June 24, 2007, at the age of 91 years, 2 months and 22 days.
Mrs. Campagna was raised in Puxico and had lived in Memphis, Tennessee until returning to Puxico in 1976. She had worked at the Sears Department Store in Memphis for thirty-five year in the audit dept. She had attended the Puxico United Methodist Church in Puxico, Missouri.
On May 16, 1944, she was married to A. G. "Tony" Campagna in Hernando, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on September 30, 1990.
Surviving are one brother, Doug Fann of Puxico, Missouri, and a host of nieces and nephews. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Helton and Thema "Toots" Kuehn; one brother, Cecil Casey.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, after 10:00 A.M. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Norman Ogles of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
