Reva Cantrell
Reva Cantrell, daughter of the late Martin and Ester Harrington Wilfong, was born in Puxico, Missouri on December 26, 1927, and passed away at the Puxico Nursing & Rehab Center in Puxico, Missouri on August 10, 2011, at the age of 83 years, 7 months and 15 days.
She had lived in the California, and moved back to Puxico in 1964. She was a member of the Puxico General Baptist Church in Puxico, Missouri. She taught Bible School and Sunday School, worked on the food committee, and loved to read.
On April 28, 1946, she was married to Curtis Cantrell in Pigott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2002.
Surviving are one grandson, Richard Cantrell of St. Louis, Missouri; one granddaughter, Tanya Kyle of Puxico, Missouri; and two brothers, Donald Ray Wilfong of Piedmont, Missouri and Gary Wilfong of Puxico, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Mike, Brad, Lori Beth, Teri Lea, and Michael; and eight great great grandchildren, Sammy, Hope, TJ, Allyssa, CJ, Zoe, Jacob, and Dakota. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Curtis Ray Cantrell, one great grandson, Michael Cantrell; four brothers, Lester Wilfong, Thurman Wilfong, Eugene Wilfong; and Claude Wilfong and two sisters, Vivian Pate and Bertha Gates.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 14, 2011, after 5:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
