Reba 'Geraldine' Graham, 89, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away at Chateau Girardeau, Cape Girardeau on April 1, 2013. She was born September 22, 1923 in Bloomfield to Guy and Hazel Pruett Reed. October 7, 1939 she was united in marriage to Charles Graham, who preceded her in death July 22, 1986.
They lived in Sikeston until 1953 when REA transferred Charlie to Bloomfield where they made their home until 1993, at which time she moved to Cape Girardeau. In Bloomfield, she was an active member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and several other organizations. After moving to Cape Girardeau she was a member of the Lynnwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Sue Duffey (Ray) of Cape Girardeau and Brenda Jane Johnson (Phil) of Valrico, Florida, four grandchildren, Tim Duffey of Cape Girardeau, Lesa Duffey Gilliland (Dale) of Allen, Tx., Amy Johnson Nolte (Dave) and Emily Johnson Albritton (Steve) of Tampa, Fl., 10 great grandchildren; Alissa, Brady, Crissy, Blake and Beau all of Texas, Katelyn, Bradley, Jacob, Jason and Camryn all of Florida. A special friend, Elmer Underwood of Bloomfield and all the Underwood family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Jean Blades.
The family extends a special thanks to the Southeast Hospice for their excellent help the past few months.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield on Thursday April 4, 2013. The service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Ray Duffey officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
