Ray Thomas

Ray T. Jones, Sr., the son of the late Raymond and Rosie Beatrice Rigsby Jones, was born in Earlington, Kentucky on February 19, 1930, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on December 9, 2006, at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 20 days. Mr. Jones had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of his life. He was affiliated with the Pentacostal Church. He was married to Mary Turner. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jones of Dexter, Missouri; three sons, Ray T. Jones, Jr., Randy Jones, and Robert Johnson all of Dexter, Missouri; four daughters, Brenda Jones, Ann Craver, Christy Norman and Debbie Jones all of Dexter, Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Tori Green, Anthony and Alex McAfee. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 11, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Turner of Sikeston, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements
