Ray Miller
Ray Glen Miller, son of the late Arvia James Miller and Vera Lorene Kirk Miller, was born in Grayridge, Missouri on August 29, 1936, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 26, 2009, at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 28 days.
Mr. Miller had lived in Dexter most of his life. He and his wife owned and operated Ray Miller Electric in Dexter repairing air conditioners and furnaces. He was a member of the Dexter First Church of God.
On May 26, 1956 he was married to Patricia Earline Mclard in Orlando, Mississippi.
Surviving is his wife Patricia Earline Miller of Dexter, two daughters: Pamela Sue Lenox, Prescott, AZ., Glenna Rene McClain, Dexter, Mo; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Myers, Cozet Batton, and Pat Boster all of Peoria, Illinois. Other relatives and friends also survives. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Gene, Bob, Terry, Floyd "Sonny" Miller.
Friends may call on Friday, August 28, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Pastor Leonard Madigan of Dexter Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery at Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
