R. H. Morgan, son of the late Benjamin Leslie and Myrtle Mae White Morgan, was born in Judsonia, Arkansas on January 29, 1927, and passed away at the Miner Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri on July 29, 2014, at the age of 87 years and 6 months.
He had lived in the Parma area most of his life. He had been a farmer most of his life and also had a trucking business. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
On August 31, 1946, he was married to Freda Jones in New Madrid. She preceded him in death on April 12, 2004.
Surviving are one son and wife, James & Bonnie Morgan of Parma; two grandchildren; Tammy Sue Johnson of Sikeston, Kimberly Ann Waters of Parma; six great grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Jasmin Morgan, Adam Johnson, Jusdin Waters, Gabriel Waters and Anna Waters. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin L. and Eugene Morgan, and four sisters, Imogene Jones, Eleatha Rackley, Ruth A. Jines and Ella Rackley.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
