Pearl Cahow

Pearl Cahow, daughter of the late Hugh and Sadie Hankins Hester, was born in Graysbro, Missouri on March 31, 1915, and passed away at the Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Missouri on August 24, 2011, at the age of 96 years, 8 months and 24 days. She had lived in Dexter for the last 40 years. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was married to Casper Claud Cahow in Caruthersville, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1955. Surviving are her son Delbert Cahow of Advance, Missouri. ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons Samuel Cahow and William Cahow, one brother Lloyd Hester and one sister: Elenora Sawyer. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2011, after 6:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Chaplain John Nimmo of Cape Girardeau, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
