Pauline Roslen

Pauline Roslen, the daughter of the late Paul Edward and Rose Lee McMillin Sorter, was born in Grants, New Mexico on August 28, 1940, and passed away at her home near Sikeston, Missouri on September 21, 2007, at the age of 67 years and 24 days. Mrs. Roslen had lived in Essex, Missouri for twenty-five years and had lived in the Sikeston the past twenty-five years. On October 6, 1956, she was married to Gilbert E. Roslen in Holbrook, Arizona. Surviving are her husband, Gilbert E. Roslen of Sikeston, Missouri; two sons, Gilbert (Marcia) Roslen, Jr. of Oran, Missouri, Paul David (Gina) Roslen of Chaffee, Missouri; one daughter, Pamela (Greg) Wisdom of Sikeston, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Stanley Krapf, Samantha Roslen, Garrett Roslen all of Oran, Missouri, Crystal Ellison, Katie Wisdom both of Sikeston, Missouri, Caryn Roslen of Scott City, Missouri, Annie Dirnberger of Silsvee, Texas; nine great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Bryce Krapf, Gavin Roslen all of Oran, Missouri, Jackson Hurt, Hunter Ellison, Ethan Wisdom, Leighton Scapino all of Sikeston, Missouri, Kierstyn and Jasymnne Roach both of Scott City, Missouri; two step-sisters, Shirley Osborn of Dustin, Oklahoma and Judy Russell of Okechobee, Florida; special friends, Wanda Cashmer of Sikeston, Missouri and Laurie Jeffery of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Paul Dean Sorter, a sister, Wanda Kuny, one grandson, Bryan Gregory Wisdom, one great grandson, Bradley Alexander Wisdom and one step-granddaughter, Jennifer Lea Wisdom. Friends may call on Monday September 24, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 25, 2007, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Scott Sutton of Morehouse, Missouri and Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter of Essex, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
