Rev. Patricia Sue Smith of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Ralph Cecil and Juanita Aliene Parker Becraft, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on March 15, 1934, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on December 25, 2014, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 10 days. Patricia had lived in the Bloomfield area most of her life. She was the pastor of the Missouri Street Full Gospel Church in Bloomfield and was ordained a minister through the Bible Way Association in 1998. On July 3, 1953, she was married to Johnnie Albert Smith in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Surviving are her husband, Johnnie Albert Smith of Bloomfield; one son, Johnnie Michael Smith of Waxhall, North Carolina; two daughters, Debra Daniels of Bell City, Sandra Presley of Dexter; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Becraft of Carlisle, Illinois, Larry Becraft of St. Louis, Missouri; five sisters, Jean McRoy and Mary Beyer both of Bloomfield, Martha Espey of Carlisle, Illinois, Marilyn Gilliam and Sheila Sandage both of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Lee Smith, a son, Charles Albert Smith and two brothers, Donnie and James Becraft. Friends may visit Monday, December 29, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Dave Gargus of Wingo, Kentucky officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
