Patricia Leeann Hon, the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Katherine Faulkner Brantley, was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon on May 2, 1954, and passed away at her home in Emporia, Kansas on November 14, 2008, at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 12 days.
Mrs. Hon was raised in Puxico, Missouri where she graduated from Puxico High School and had lived in Emporia, Kansas the past 22 years. She owned and operated Family Day Care in Emporia, Kansas. Love and loyalty for family and friendships was evident. Her gift, talent and passion for interior design was seen and enjoyed by all who knew her.
On April 25, 1980, she was married to John Hon in Sikeston, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, John Hon of Emporia, Kansas; two sons, Jonathan & Karen Bollinger of Puxico, Missouri, Robert & Cassandra Hon of Emporia, Kansas; six grandchildren, Emily, A.J., and Matthew Bollinger, Alex, Jordan and Rylea Hon; one brother, Paul G. Ludwig of LaBelle, Florida; two sisters and brothers in law, Pamela and Perrry Hubbert of Madison, Alabama and Kelley and David Kirkpatrick of Turlock, California; nieces & nephews, Shannon Ludwig, Mindi Tucker, Michael Hubbert, Jeremy Kirkpatrick, Joshua Kirkpatrick, Samantha Koehn; and grandmother, Elsie Burge of Puxico, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call on Wednesday November 19, 2008, after 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri.
Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
