Ora Teeters, the son of the late Ora Lynnville and Floye Mae Rhoda Teeters was born in Holcomb, Missouri on April 26, 1931, and passed away at his home in Circle City, Missouri on June 3, 2007, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 8 days.
Mr. Teeters had lived in Essex, Missouri most of his life. He was a retired automobile mechanic and was a member of the Taylor General Baptist Church near Essex, Missouri.
On March 1, 1960, he was married to Nadine Horn in Essex, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Nadine Teeters of Essex, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy Richard of Patterson, Louisiana; two sons, Joey Teeters of Essex, Missouri, Jerry Teeters of Bloomfield, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Teeters and one sister, Louise Ritch.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 7, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2007, at 10:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Jerry Pennington of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
