Novalene Hann, daughter of the late Ervil O. and Chloe Chadwick Branscum, was born in Alco, Arkansas on August 30, 1937, and passed away at her daughter's home in Dexter, Missouri on June 21, 2007, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 22 days.
Ms. Hann had lived in Stoddard County for many years and moved to Dexter, in 1966. She had worked as a waitress at Ella's Cafe.
Surviving are four daughters, Kathy Oliver, Sherry Creado, and Debra Hampton all of Dexter, Missouri, Laura Hargrave of Belton, Texas; four sons, Douglas McDonald of Festus, Missouri, Tony McDonald of Miner, Missouri, Michael McDonald of Dexter, Missouri, Norman Hann, Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, James Donald Branscum of Burton, Michigan, Ray Branscum of Imperial, Missouri; two sisters, Edna Clark of St. Louis, Missouri and Ruth Street of Wichita, Kansas. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy McDonald; one great granddaughter, Emily Oliver; two sisters, Beatrice Samples and Eva Branscum and one brother, Aubrey Branscum.
Friends may call on Friday, June 22, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 23, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Bro. Keith Parris of Edwardsville, Illinois officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
