Norman Matthew Ludwig, son of the late Elmer C. and Maudie Schrader Ludwig, was born in Risco, Missouri on July 5, 1942, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on March 19, 2013, at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 14 days.
Mr. Ludwig had lived all of his life in Risco and Parma. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Malden. He had retired from Noranda Aluminum.
On , April 5, 1963, he was married to Marilyn Jeanette Rowland in Parma, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn J. Ludwig of Parma, Missouri, two sons Michael Todd and Susan Ludwig of Parma, Missouri and Shaun and Heather Ludwig of Risco, Missouri; six grandchildren, Crystal Earnheart, Shanna Moody, Morgan Ludwig, Sierrea Ludwig, Hayden Ludwig, Adam Ludwig; two great-grandchildren, Eli Earnheart & Macey Moody; two brothers, Bob Ludwig of St. Louis, Missouri and Arlin Ludwig of Farmington, Missouri; three sisters, Thelma Niehaus of Dexter, Missouri, Norma Macon of Flouilla, Georgia, Georgianna Noubarian of St. Louis, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Timothy A. Ludwig, three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 2:00 PM in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.
