Norma Eileen Harmon, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Alice Croney Goforth was born in Puxico, Missouri on September 25, 1923 and passed away on February 18, 2010, at the age of 86.
She had lived in the Puxico, Missouri area most of her life. She was a life member of the Puxico VFW and Rebecca Lodge of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Puxico.
On May 21, 1977, she was married to William D. Harmon in Reno, Nevada. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1997.
Surviving are one son, Rev. Norman Ogles, Sr. of Puxico, Missouri; one daughter, Annette Kocurek of Coldspring, Texas; one brother-in-law and wife, John and Dianna Harmon of Puxico, Missouri; one sister-in-law and husband, Mary Ann and Peter Coutavas of Puxico, Missouri; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several Great-Great grandchildren; several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son Daniel Leroy Ogles, one stepson, Steven Dean Harmon; one brother, Dorral Goforth; one sister, Thelma Muskopt; and one grandson, Norman Eugene Ogles, Jr. Other relatives and friends survive.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with the Rev. Dennis Doublin of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
