Nola May Anderson

Nola May Anderson, a beloved member of the St. Peters, Missouri community, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024 at the age of 91. She was born on May 11, 1933, to the late Patrick and Iva (Layton) Jones.

Nola was united in marriage to James Anderson Sr. on November 2, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas. Together, they built a loving family and shared many cherished memories until his passing.

Most of Nola's life was spent in Bloomfield, Missouri, and she was a dedicated member of the Link Community Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and nurturing her spirit. Nola found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, creating lasting bonds and treasured moments. She also delighted in watching her favorite television shows.

She is survived by her loving grandchildren: Jennifer (Bryan) Jones of Wentzville, Missouri; Rachel (David) Charron of Nixa, Missouri; and Richard (Tina) Anderson of St. Peters, Missouri. Nola's family legacy extends to 12 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and one on the way, all of whom brought her great joy.

Nola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, James Anderson Jr.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, beginning at 11:30 A.M. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. The funeral service will follow at 12 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions to Wreaths Across America, an organization that honors veterans.
