Neoma Faries

Neoma Faries, the daughter of the late Tom and Fern F. Vails Kinsey, was born in Holcomb, Missouri on May 1, 1919, passed away at the Twin Rivers Medical Center in Kennett, Missouri on November 1, 2006, at the age of 87 years and 6 months. Mrs. Faries was a homemaker and had lived in the Canalou and Morehouse communities from 1964, to 1996, when she moved to Bloomfield, she moved to Dexter in 2001. She attended the Canalou Assembly of God Church. She loved gardening. On December 20, 1934, she was married to David M. Faries in Risco, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1997. Surviving are three daughters, Lou Jones of Kevil, Kentucky, Barbara Ann Moses of Catron, Missouri, Linda Diane Cagle of Dexter, Missouri, six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Matlock of Cahokia, Illinois. Other friends and relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by daughter, Joyce Inett Faries, three brothers, Howard, James, and Johnny Kinsey, and one sister, Dorothy Turman. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Michael Cartwright of Matthews, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
