Neavle Biggs

Neavle Lynn Biggs, son of the late James Henry and Martha Jane Schultz Biggs, was born in Senath, Missouri on May 16, 1922, and passed away at his home in Paragould, Arkansas on September 12, 2009, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 17 days. Mr. Biggs had lived in Parma for many years before moving to Arkansas eight years ago. He was of the Baptist Faith. On September 23, 1939, he was married to Rosa Katherine Trammell in Parma, Missouri. She preceded him in death on April 10, 1973. Surviving are four daughters, Patsy Van Buren of Doniphan, Missouri, Linda Speakman and Teresa Jones both of St. Mary's, Missouri, Ruby J. Mills of Paragould, Arkansas; thirty grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; two brothers, James Biggs of Parma, Missouri, Dean Biggs of Newton, North Carolina; three sisters, Rosemary Russian of Michigan, Betty Jo Tally of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Doris Gist of Florida. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Floyd, James, Eugene, Ira, Winfred and Harold Biggs; and two sisters, Ruby King and Freda Woolff. Friends may call on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Roger Tidwell of Jonesboro, Arkansas officiating. Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
