Nancy Marie Clifton Morton, daughter of Harry Clinton and Anne Eldora Huffman Clifton, was born near Poplar Bluff, Missouri on December 8, 1966, and passed away at the Westwood Hills Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on July 24, 2009, at the age of 42 years.
Mrs. Morton had lived in the Poplar Bluff area all her life. She was of the Pentecost faith. Mrs. Morton was full of life, loved sports and her family as well as big get togethers.
Surviving is her mother, Eldora Clifton of Malden, Missouri; seven sisters, Carolyn and Lloyd Gambling of Fairdealing, Missouri, JoAnn and Mike McKnight of Benld, Illinois, Connie Gambling of Oxly, Missouri, Mary Clifton of Doniphan, Missouri, Linda and Mike Blankenship of Paragould, Arkansas, Vicky and Glenn Gray of Troy of Missouri and Louise and Jim Knight of Malden, Missouri; four brothers; Orville Clifton and Kenny Clifton of Malden Missouri, Henry Floyd Clifton of Fairdealing, Missouri and David and Kathy Clifton of Kaycee, Wyoming, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Harry Clinton Clifton.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 26, 2009, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009, at 3:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Richard Mahan of Arkansas, officiating.
Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery in Campbell, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
