Naman Caldwell, son of the late Overton Alexander and Orpha L. Caldwell was born in Stoddard County, Missouri on November 7, 1919, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on June 27, 2015, at the age of 95 years, 7 months and 20 days.
Mr. Caldwell had been a Bus driver for the Puxico School District and attended the Egypt Church near Puxico. He enjoyed being active in the Mingo Saddle Club, Mingo Tractor Club and was a member of Mel's Diner.
On February 1, 1939 he was married to Rita Watson near Puxico, MO. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2006.
Surviving are two 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Darlene Caldwell of Imperial, MO, Garry and Carolyn Caldwell of Peveley, MO; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Gayle and John Miller of Hecker, Illinois, Trenna Hale of Festus, MO; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. One sister: Maxine Shoat of Dexter, Missouri Other friends and relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers Grover, Delmer and Gene Caldwell, one sister Audrey Stewart, one son-in-law Charles Hale and one granddaughter Renee Lucas.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 29, 2015, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2015, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Wayne Burchett of Puxico officiating.
Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
