Misti Daun Pitkin, the daughter of Kerry Pitkin and Debbie Morgan Day, was born in Baytown, Texas on February 17, 1977, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on May 29, 2007, at the age of 30 years, 3 months and 12 days.
Misti had lived in Matthews, Missouri for many years and moved to Poplar Bluff three years ago. She was a cook at the Huddle House in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Russell Evan Booker, III of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, twins Donald & Deanna Hart of Matthews, Missouri; her mother and step-father, Debbie and Zane Day of Kaysville, Utah; father, Kerry Pitkin of Hartstown, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Kyle Day of Kaysville, Utah, Brock Day of Peoria, Arizona; seven sisters, Amanda Pitkin of Phoenix, Arizona, Vanessa Paulino, Peoria, Arizona, Shawnda Joslin of Dexter, Missouri, Brittany Day of Layton, Utah, Christina Pitkin of Hartstown, Pennsylvania, Airyn LeFevre and Alyx Day both of Kaysville, Utah. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Interment will be in the Kaysville City Cemetery in Kaysville, Utah at a later date. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of local arrangements.
