Minnie Mae Collier, the daughter of William Lee and Harriett Elizabeth Julian, was born on December 27, 1928, in Hodge, Louisiana and passed away on April 8, 2006, in Sunnyvale, California at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 11 days She was married to James C. Collier and her preceded her in death. Minnie Mae was raised in Gray Ridge, Missouri and graduated from the Gray Ridge High School. She worked at the school as secretary from January 1947 to July 1948, at which time she moved to California. She went to work as a civilian employee for the U. S. Air Force and retired after 44 years of service Surviving are one sister, Lona Cronk of Blytheville, Arkansas and one sister-in-law, Betty Julian of Kansas City, Missouri, 14 nieces and nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Norval Lee, Chester Eugene, Kenneth Denton, Ivan William and Raymond Eugene Julian; three sisters, Norma Dillon, Harriett Virginia Julian and Irene Luceille Julian. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri. Interment will be in Arlington Veterans Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
