Milborn Miller Taylor, son of the late Clarence and Myrtle Ridding Taylor, was born in Kinsett, Arkansas on June 13, 1917, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on January 19, 2010, at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 6 days.
He had lived in Poe and Reeve, Missouri, and Searcy, Arkansas before moving to Puxico in 1950. He was a life time farmer, was a member of the Puxico Church of Christ and was an avid gardener.
On June 21, 1941, he was married to Alma Lentz in Kennett, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 25, 1981.
Surviving are four sons, Jimmy Taylor of Sevierville, Tennessee, Clarence Taylor and Bobby Taylor both of Bloomfield, Missouri, Dennis Taylor of Dexter, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and one brother, Clarence Taylor of Salem, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Milborn Dale Taylor.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Services will be held Friday, January 22, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Bro. Keith Sandlin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
