Melba Leah Venable

Melba Greer Venable, the daughter of the late Clyde and Ollie Taylor Greer, was born in Dexter, Missouri on June 10, 1960, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on January 16, 2007, at the age of 46 years, 7 months and 6 days. Mrs. Venable was a life long resident of Morehouse and Dexter, Missouri. She had attended the General Baptist Church in Morehouse, Missouri. Surviving are one son, Daniel Venable of Dexter, Missouri; three brothers, Tommy Joe Greer and Terry Greer both of Morehouse, Missouri, Dickie Greer of Kenentt, Missouri; two sisters, Joyce Tackett and Dianne Lenderman both of Morehouse, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Donnie Greer. Friends may call on Thursday, January 18, 2007, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Memorial service and interment will follow at a later date.
