Melba Mae Gross, daughter of Mae Moore Mayberry and the late Orville Mayberry, was born February 25, 1948, and passed away August 11, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 17 days.
She had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri most of her life and had retired from the Bloomfield Nursing Center where she worked in housekeeping. She was a member of the Bible Tabernacle Church.
She was married to Fred Gross and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Warren Gross of Bloomfield, Missouri; her mother Mae Mayberry of Bloomfield, Missouri; and one cousin, Smokey Moore of Aquilla, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010, after 10:00 AM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Jamie Jones of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
