Mearl R. Frame, son of the late John Carrol and Sarah Jane Oliver Frame, was born in Illinois on January 26, 1916, and passed away at the Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on December 31, 2007, at the age of 91 years, 11 months and 5 days. Mr. Frame had lived in California and Kentucky before moving to Dexter in 1987. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of the Air Force. He dearly loved his family and loved traveling, hunting and fishing. On July 26, 1942, he was married to Mildred Julian in Sikeston, Missouri. She preceded him in death on November 28, 1987. Surviving are one son, John R. Frame of California; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; five sisters, Mary McDaniel of Keego Harber, Michigan, Nora Frame of Pontiac, Michigan, Florence Schatz of Millersburg, Michigan, Ruth Nations of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Betty Townley of Sanbury, Ohio; three brothers, John Frame of Radcliff, Kentucky, Bill Frame of Flint, Michigan and Joe Frame of Tacoma, Washington. Other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Mable Warner, Iolene Musgrave, Flora Wiegand, Deloris Nations, and two brothers, Calvin and Charles Frame. Friends may call on Thursday, January 3, 2008, after 11:00 A.M. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at 12:00 P.M. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri. Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
