Maxine Roberts

Maxine Carlene Roberts of St. Charles Missouri, daughter of the late Carl and Opal Needham, was born in Essex Missouri on August 12, 1931, and passed away at The Boulevard Senior Living Center in St. Charles Missouri on December 27, 2020, at the age of 89 years. Maxine has been a resident of St. Charles for the last 28 years. She has also lived in Dexter, Cape Girardeau and St. Louis. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to take care of everyone. On November 25, 1946 Maxine married Johnny Essement Roberts. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2017. Surviving are two sons Jerry (Verena) Roberts of O'Fallon Missouri and John (Zadie) Roberts of Carson City, Nevada. She is survived by two sisters, and five grandchildren. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Opal Needham, her husband Johnny Roberts and two sisters. She is survived by a host of family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday January 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
