Mary Young

Mary Melba Young, daughter of the late Ward and Emma Love Declue Payne, was born in Potosi, Missouri on January 10, 1922, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on December 8, 2010, at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 28 days. Mrs. Young had lived in Bloomfield, Missouri all of her life. She was a member of the Link Church near Bloomfield. On April 1, 1944, she was married to Everett "Bud" Young. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2009. Surviving are one son, Dennis Young of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Janet Walker of Arnold, Missouri, two grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Glenwood Payne; and two sisters, Eleanor Crocker and Lucille Crabtree. Friends may call on Sunday, December 12, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Michael Woods of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
