Mary Ann Wilson, the daughter of the late Frank and Nettie Rampley Strauser, was born in Bloomfield, Indiana on October 14, 1909, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare facility in Dexter, Missouri on July 20, 2006, at the age of 96 years, 9 months and 6 days. Mrs. Wilson had lived in Leora, Missouri before moving to Dexter in 1978. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri and a Charter member of the Leora Baptist Church. On January 18, 1934, she was married to Edward Wilson in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1972. Surviving are two sons, Loren Wilson of Bloomfield, Missouri, Gary Wilson of Bloomfield, Missouri; two daughters, LaFern Smith of Bloomfield, Missouri, Shelby Bennett of Arnold, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2006, at 1:30 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Doug Scott of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Leora Cemetery in Leora, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
