Mary Euvon Pool

Mary Euvon Pool, the daughter of the late Fred and May Brock Hester, was born in Cleburne County, Arkansas February 15, 1937, and passed away at her home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 6, 2006, at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 19 days. Mrs. Pool had lived in Dexter, Missouri for twenty two years before moving to Cape Girardeau, Missouri three years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. On August 2, 1952, she was married to Raymond Pool in Paw Paw, Michigan. Surviving are her husband: Raymond Pool of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, three sons: Ronald Pool of Malden, Missouri, Donald Pool of Kennett, Missouri and John Pool of Dexter, Missouri, two daughters: Janet Hankins and Joyce Smith both of Dexter, Missouri, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, one brother Arnold Hester of Mountain Home, Arkansas, two sisters: Lovella Weldon of Hoganville, Georgia and Edith Palulski of Trenton, Florida. Other friends and relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother: Arlie Hester and two sisters: Arvema Northrop and Ava Lilies. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 9, 2006, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Glenn Hamilton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
