Mary Payne

Mary Edna Payne, the daughter of the late Eli and Ida Fields Payne, was born in Essex, Missouri on May 2, 1944, and passed away at the St. John's Hospital in Cassville, Missouri on June 15, 2008, at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 13 days. Mrs. Payne had lived in Sikeston, Missouri, Valley Park, Missouri from 1974 to 1996, she then moved to Exeter, Missouri. She was a Baptist. Surviving are one brother, Freddie Payne of Eureka, Missouri; two sisters, Jewell Hinshaw of Warrenton, Missouri and Bessie Purler of Exeter, Missouri. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Rayburn, and two brothers, David and James Payne. Graveside Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at 1:30 PM at the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements
