Mary Belle Fowler
Mary Belle Fowler, the daughter of the late Everett and Elizabeth Peck Scott, was born near Dudley, Missouri on May 22, 1929, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on June 25, 2005, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 3 days.
She lived in Puxico, Missouri most of her life and was a member of the Corinth General Baptist Church near Puxico, Missouri. She was a home maker.
On November 1, 1946, she was married to Lyman Fowler in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviviing are her husband, Lyman Fowler of Puxico, Missouri; two sons, Dennis Fowler of Advance, Missouri, Kenny Fowler of Jackson, Missouri; two daughters, Tammy Wilson of Puxico, Missouri, Becky Richman of Dexter, Missouri; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother Norman Scott of Dexter, Missouri, two sisters, Artie Hatchell of Bloomfield, Missouri and Irma Jean Bollinger of Michigan. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Everett Scott, Jr.
Visitation will be after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Bob Bradford of Advance, Missouri and the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.watkinsfuneralhome.com.
