Mary Sue Boyles, the daughter of the late William Luther and Mary Francis Britton Reed, was born in Howe, Oklahoma on November 14, 1914, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on February 26, 2007, at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 12 days.
She had lived in the Dexter and Bloomfield areas all of her life. She was a homemaker and member of the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield before entering the nursing home.
Surviving are one son, George E. Boyles of Killian, Texas; three Daughters, Millie M. Casey of Doniphan, Missouri, Alice and Don Parks of Bloomfield, Missouri and Lorene Friend of Troy, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren; three sisters, Cathern Stephenson of Washington, Lizzy Brown of Arkansas, Agnes Anderson of Texas. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, William Elmer Boyles; one daughter, Joyce Boyles; two sisters, Maggie Griffin and Pearly Reed; and three brothers, Johnny Reed, Willie Reed and Louis Reed.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, at 10:30 A.M. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Sue Welborn of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
