Marvin Smith

Marvin Smith, son of the late Charles Artimus and Ivy Thomas Smith, was born in Flagstaff, Arizona on October 2, 1944, and passed away at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on December 6, 2013, at the age of 69 years. He had lived in Sedona, Arizona before moving to Dexter 12 years ago. He had worked for Quest Telephone Company. On August 20, 1970, he was married to Gay Cheryl Ann Smith in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives in the home. Surviving are his wife, Gay Cheryl Ann Smith of Dexter; one son, Joshua Gold of Dexter and two grandchildren. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Rev. of Dexter, Missouri officiating with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
