Martha Louise Allstun Martha Louise Allstun, the daughter of the late Clarence Wilson and Velossie Dale Lawson, was born in Parma, Missouri on September 12, 1929, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Center in Dexter, Missouri on July 7, 2008, at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 25 day. Mrs. Allstun lived her whole life in the Dexter, Missouri area. She was a member of the Essex Church of Christ in Essex, Missouri. She retired from the P. N. Hirsch store in Dexter, Missouri where she worked in the shoe department. On September 13, 1947, she was married to Walter Ray Allstun in Piggott, Arkansas. Surviving are her husband, Walter Ray Allstun of Dexter, Missouri; Two daughters; Kathy Fortner of Dexter, Missouri and Geraline Reaves of Seneca, Missouri. Nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren. Two sisters; Ruth Larson of Dexter, Missouri and Joyce Cook of Jackson, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by; two brothers, Carroll W. and Charles M. Lawson; two sisters, Jean Newman and Dixie M. Lawson. Also two siblings died in infancy. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday July 8, 2008, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2008, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Minister Herman Morris of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
