Marjorie McCarver

Marjorie McCarver Marjorie McCarver, daughter of the late Othor and Lora Hildebrand Sandefur, was born in Clarkton, Missouri on May 21, 1919, and passed away at the Cypress Point Nursing Center in Dexter, Missouri on February 7, 2014, at the age of 94 years. She had lived in Dexter, Missouri since 1948. She had owned and operated her own beauty parlor in Dexter for many years and had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dexter since 1948. On October 9, 1939, she was married to Robert Wayne "Bob" McCarver in Malden, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2007. Surviving are one daughter and husband, Judy & Hoy Heise of Brookfield, Connecticut,two grandsons and wives; Christopher Evan & Sheri Heise of California, Robert Hoy & Cary Heise of North Carolina; two great grandchildren; Ashlin and Carver Heise. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may visit on Monday, February 10, 2014, after 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Tom Bass of Cape Girardeau and Steve Moody of Clarkton officiating. Interment with be in the Stanfield Cemetery near Clarkton, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
